Once the arrangement is ready, the Groovemu Reaper Engine turns it into a live playable arranger system. The PLAYER performs active VAR and FILL regions while Groovemu Live Transposer handles live harmony and accompaniment control.

If you place your own tracks under the project Master tracks, the system automatically applies important plugins, FX and workflow elements for you. Just build your arrangement normally and GROOVEMU handles the rest.
TRANSPOSE
When your MIDI items first interact with Groovemu Live Transposer, the system automatically selects the most suitable Transpose Mode, Timing and Chord Switch settings for you. You can always fine-tune them later to match your own workflow.
HEALTH SYSTEM
Starting from an empty REAPER project or accidentally broke something?
The built-in HEALTH system can automatically create, rebuild and reconnect important GROOVEMU workflow elements with a single click.
This includes:

8 YEARS OF EXPERIMENTS & FAILURES | WHY?
I’m an audio and computer music nerd from Estonia who has always loved building weird DIY music systems and experimenting with creative workflow ideas. For years, I loved the freedom of REAPER but missed the live musical feeling of real arranger workstations.
Arrangers were fun to play. DAWs were powerful to edit. But neither combined both worlds.
The idea behind GROOVEMU actually started around 2018. The early versions were primitive, unstable and incomplete. Many experiments failed and the whole project was paused multiple times.
But over the years, better tools, new technical possibilities and endless testing slowly helped everything finally come together. And eventually GROOVEMU started behaving exactly the way I originally imagined it.
A real live arranger workflow inside REAPER was born.
